I have a new microwave which is fitted in a wall press. I noticed the the press is quite wet from steam after only short usage...4 to 5 minutes. Should this be happening or is something wrong.
Ps. I leave press door open when microwave is on.

    Any ideas.

For a microwave, 4 to 5 minutes is not 'short usage', what are you doing that takes that long? Have you studied the clearances recommended in the user manual?

So far I've cooked a few pieces of bacon (rashers) and I've also tried jacket potatoes.
I'm not great at the cooking so maybe I'm overdoing it to be on the safe side.

The press is large ..probably 6" inches spare all the way round. I will still check manual to make sure that's ok.

    Thanks

ample room i only have 1 inch each side,i presume there is a slot at the back/no end panel to allow for venting.

The back is a half panel.
I think I better stick with beans on toast for the moment. ...now where is that Neven Maguire book gone...

the 2 items i use most of are a philips hot air fryer and a jml halogen oven as both give you lovely tasting food, only used my new oven 3 times since i bought it 5 years ago.if doing beans in the micro for 1 1/2 mins stir then 1 1/2 minutes again.
