Just spotted this picture on the Defence Forces twitter. I'm just curious on where the Military Polices jurisdiction lies ? From the picture it would appear the MP are out checking speeds on a public road ?

So they can only stop military vehicles?

Can Gardai stop and issue a ticket to army personnel in military vehicles?

They have to police themselves as Gardai can't stop them bit like cars you would see cd on.

They won't do civilians so if you passed them and were worried you can sleep tonight:pac:

But can they stop any car? How do they know if it's civilian or military

Since when can a Garda not stop a defence forces vehicle or a diplomatic vehicle?
