Smart priority switch

    Hi all,

Looking for some advice on a smart priority switch. Someone on here mentioned it to me before but I cant find the thread.
Basically, I have 2 LNBs mounted on my dish (28e and 19e) feeding a Sky box and a TNTSAT Humax box. The latter has dieseqc and selects the LNB. I then use a manual AB switch to select the receiver. I was previously told about the Digiality Smart Priority Switch a couple of years ago as it can save me having to manually select A or B if I connect the TNTSAT box to the A feed. Then when I turn off the TNTSAT box, the Sky box becomes Master.
My question is does this Wentronic 51445-GB Priority Switch do the same thing as its a bit cheaper? It doesn't mention Diseqc loop through whereas the Digiality one does?

It should do the same thing. By default, you would expect the Diseqc commands to pass through it.

    Cool.
    I've ordered the priority switch.
As it stands, when I press the A button, no signal is receiver at the Sky box and vice versa when I press B.
With a smart switch I know the Sky box will become master once the TNTSAT box is off but will a signal be present at the sky box when the TNTSAT box is on?
If so, can the 13v or 18v dieseqc signal damage the sky receiver in any way?

If designed properly, it should function like the manual switch and both receivers are isolated from one another.
