External Multifuel Boilers

I'm looking for opinions on external multifuel boilers. I was in a showroom yesterday taking a look at one model, the "Pereko KSW Prima". €1700 for the 20k model, and it goes up €100 for every 5k after that.

I'm currently in the process of building a 7 bedroom, three storey house. Originally, I was thinking of going for the largest available stove with a back boiler, in the kitchen, to heat the radiators and hot water, but now I wondering if having one of these external boilers (say the 40k model, €2100) would heat all the radiators and hot water, and I wouldn't need any stove or fireplace at all in the house?

Not having to ever bring in dirty buckets of wood and coal inside the house, or clean out the ashes and stove each morning seems like a fantastic option, if possible.

    Does sound good.

I can't help on how good that boiler is, but as you are thinking external have you looked at gasification / condensing boilers, some at least are supposed to be able to take green & wet wood.
Whilst they are more expensive at first.
If you have a spare half acre, you could be near self sufficient with willow wood or a few years later with hotter burning sycamore or better.

My house is still a few years away from being finished, I was thinking long-term getting opinions on this system.

However, a relative recently did a major renovation on their home. Among other things, they removed the stove and fireplace in the sitting room, and closed up the hole. They have installed one of these boilers in the shed next to the house, it's not connected to the pipes yet, but that should be happening next week.

The one he got is a Rakoczy 30K model. Looking forward to seeing it in action.
