    Do such a facility exist for repeating external students to sit an exam in?

    You can just apply to sit it in a nearby school. In my exam centre last year, there were 5 or 6 external candidates sitting with us.

    You might feel a bit paranoid sitting with uniformed students but people are so worried about themselves, you'll hardly be noticed.
