07 Beetle Window Regulator

    Hello . Have a 07 VW beetle. the drivers side window regulator is gone. Been quoted a crazy price from VW. Just wondering would a regulator from a different vw car fit or a younger model beetle?

    Have a look on ebay for the regulator.

    I got a genuine VW Beetle Cabriolet regulator for a mates car last year from a VW dealership for a fraction of what the VW dealership quoted here.

    It's a bit finicky to fit but any half decent mechanic will have no problem with it.

    As George has alluded to, the regulators are specific to the EXACT car, make, model, version, year, etc, so be very careful you get the correct one!!
