    Hi
My mother had her gallbladder removed a few weeks ago. Since then, she has been experiencing some abdominal pains, which the doctors told her were some side affects which could last on and off for a few weeks. Since her gallbladder removal, she has had a few blood tests with her regular doctor and these have seemingly been fine. She went for her 1 month check up this week and the doctor effectively discharged her. Today however she got a call saying the hospital doctor was not happy with her liver results and she would need to go for a further scan to look at her liver. Needless to say, she is beside herself with worry, as am I. Can there be any reasonable explanation here?
