I don't think they'd do any more jumping on each other than a pen of heifers. Have they all got space to eat at the barrier at the same time?

They say the bullocks won't thrive aswell if mixed with the heifers.

Have bulls here, they would kill themselves if I didn't have a electric fence grid over them.

finished manys the bull and it never got to the stage that I needed electric wire over them, when theyre well fed they don't get too excited

Ahh another on my school of thought
If they are not lieing out with a pain your not giving them eneough

It easy enough to put electric over them. Saw a great way years ago do the same myself now. Keep your wires about 3 feet over cattle. Then hang electric fence string with lead on ends off them . This means there is less chance an animal pulling down wires into pen

Stops them jumping on each other as often they'll pick on a weaker animal and ride it mercilessly.

what does the electric wire over head do?

Putting electric wires in cattle sheds is like removing bars of soap from prison showers.
