    Hi Folks

Currently in the process of buying a new old house. House is ready to move in, good heating, new insulation in roof and walls, however the layout downstairs needs to be reconfigured. This is something that will be done in the next year or 2 just wondering if someone can give me an idea of the labour cost to get this done.

    - New internal door in brick wall(possible RSJ needed)
    - Break through wall between kitchen and dining room RSJ needed
    - Partition wall with french doors between living and dining room
    - Move window 3 feet
    - Put up another partition wall
    -Fit new kitchen
    - Replace large rear window with French doors
    - Minor electrical & plumbing work

Ignoring the cost of new kitchen and all the fixtures and fitting throughout, how much would you estimate this would cost to get done?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

Also MODS would it be possible to create a sticky encouraging people to share their stories regarding extenions, renovations after they have completed work.

There are hundreds of threads like mine asking estimates for having work done but the majority of them are roughly the same and some have received help and some havent. If there was a sticky for people to share their stories regarding work they have had done and the cost, this could help the majority of people looking for help.

    Just a suggestion.
