    Hi all,
I recently purchased a new house & am in the process of renovation. I have chosen walnut wood for the bedrooms and the sitting room. The hallyway and kitchen are both a light beige glossy tile. The staircase is primed white with walnut handrail and steps.
I know with new houses people normally go for an off-white colour but I was thinking a light biscuit/beige colour to blend in with the tiles/staircase/wood. I have purchased so many tester pots going on the colour in the leaflets but they look totally different when two coats have been applied on the walls!!
If anybody knows of a nice light biscuit/beige colour that thinks might suit, I would really appreciate it. We also looked at light greys for the bedrooms, but again these look terrible when on the wall!!
    Any recommendations, greatly appreciated!

    hey,

We recently painted our sitting room which has a walnut fireplace in it and family/friends are always asking us about the name. (runs out to shed...:))

    Dulux -Moda Sweet Cashew

Must say, I though it was a "non colour" on the tin, but it really does look well on the walls. White satin wood to finish off the kickboards/doors.

    Hope it helps.

Just painted our hall with Crowns "button mushroom" from the earth living range. Really really nice up, really pleased with it :)
