Buying an older house - question on electrics / rewiring

My daughter is buying her first house and I had a survey carried out. A key issue was the wiring. To quote from the report:

"Electrician’s examination of the electrical circuits with a view to rewiring of the
entire in accordance with current Electro-Technical Regulations."

The house is late 1950's and is located in Santry. It's a bog standard 3 bed semi - around 80 sq m.

Any idea how much I should expect to pay for rewiring including an MCD?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks
    Roy

Allow 5K but it depends on the specs afterwards. That is a standard statement form all engineers. he does not indicate if there was any work done since 1950.
