Hi guys, Leaving next week for a short break - 5 nights in The Algarve. Staying near Vilamoura. The plan is to rent a car - I think we would definitely see a lot more this way, as I believe public transport isn't the best! Any hints and tips on what to see and do whilst there? Thanks in advance for any replies :cool:

Hi guys,

I stayed in Portimao 11 years ago and loved it... nothing too special about it, its just it was cheap and some of the restaurants were top notch.

Its close to Praia da Rocha
