hey lads, im thinking of trying to setup my gaming desktop so that it can stream all my games onto my tv in the living room, whats the best way of going about doing this? was thinking of buying the nvidia shield tablet which can stream steam games (i think) as long as youve a nvidia card (i dont).
    any ideas?

You could try steam in-home streaming if you have another system connected to the TV you're wanting to stream to.

    A cable to the tv.

    Seriously.

An old laptop near the TV can work fine as a streaming target. Depending on specs and what outputs it has of course. The streaming target with the Steam system doesn't need much power at all really.
