Strange Tuner issue

I've just had a new Sky install in another room. It's running two cables from an Octo on a new dish. The Sky Box works perfect and picks up a decent signal on both tuners.
I connected up my Vu as I might use that in the room instead and move the Sky box elsewhere.
Tuner A had no signal, tuner B was fine. Made sure to tighten the connections and still the same. So I then switched the connections. Tuner A now fine but B had nothing. So it doesn't appear to be the tuners and they were working fine together elsewhere.
Anyone know if an Octo would need some sort of different setup?

Sounds like a signal problem with your second wire, or could be the connection on the quad is gone on one f connector...try swap it to another lug on the lnb

That's what I assumed but then the Sky Box has both cables working fine.

I'll get the ladder out at some point and switch around the connections on the lnb but if sky box is working fine I don't understand why there would be an issue unless there's something I don't undertsand regarding Octo lnbs.

If you have screw on F plugs most likely one has become half unscrewed while changing boxes over.
