Just dumped all my flowers from flower boxes around the front of the house ... Is there anything that would grow with a bit of colour in boxes for next month or two or us it best to just leave it till next spring thks

Ornamental cabbage and kale are great for this time of year. The colder it gets the more they colour up in shades of cream, pink and purple. They withstand wind and rain pretty well too. I grow mine from seed but most garden centres should have plants available.

Winter pansies, primula, heathers and loads of other plants available in any good garden centre.
