Well, I have a problem with my tractor and topper. Hope someone can help me.
Ok so I had a mint MF135 for many years and never gave me any bother. I bought a s/h topper in 09 with a new gearbox. It's a Conor. The two worked together like anything. Earlier this year I traded the Massey for a Same Laser 90. Great tractor now. It ran fine until a shear bolt went in it one day. Whenever I go through a bunch of rushes, the pto stops but when I lift her it slowly speeds up again. The Massey used to tear through the equivalent of them. Is it the tractor or topper? No one can give me a straight answer to it!!! Thanks

PTO Clutch slipping on tractor, most likely. Does the tractor loose power going up a steep hill, like on a road (no PTO on)?

I'll be honest I don't know. I'm on all fairly flat land, I'd be flat out 90% of the time when driving on road. Neighbours have a few really steep fields and one steep road to the sheds. I'll try that asap. When I got it first the clutch used to stick when pressed down and I'd have to pump it (like brakes) to release it. Gears do some serious grinding also.

has your same a button for pto engagement or a hand clutch lever?its a while since I sat in one,if it has the button its likely a electric/hyd pto clutch so it could be a hyd pressure issue there should be a pressure test port somewhere on the pto hyd valve.

No, it has the hand clutch lever beside the link and draft control. She's 1987 so there's no electrics. It's hard to find a solution. Looks like the clutch...I hope!

Don't know if the Laser had a dry clutch plate PTO or a wet clutch pack. The Leopard before it had a wet pack. Assuming they didn't take the backward step of a dry disk, your PTO or clutch pack probably worn out. Phone Fenian Reilly in Crossakeil in Meath, very helpful crowd.
