Hiar Loss - Proscar Prescription

    I am in my thirties and experiencing thinning of the hair at the temples. I would like to try halt this if I could. After some research I have read that Proscar (containing finasteride) may be a good pace to start. However this can only be obtained on prescription. Does anyone have any experience obtaining a prescription for this from a doctor for the purposes of hair loss???

    I don't want to go to the doctor looking only to be denied the prescription. Incidentally, I have no other medical issues that might stop him from giving it to me.
