On P4 of the 2013 Form 12 (Employee Tax Return) the following new additional question is asked:

' If you received a performance -related bonus payment from a specified institution in excess of €20,000 and have suffered USC at the rate of 45% on this payment insert X in the boxes: '

Can someone inform me what a specified institution is ? Why would the USC rate be different to other job categories/ institutions?

    Thank You

Why would you go to the effort of setting up a thread, when the answer is available if you just type "45% USC rate" into google...

    Do that.
