    Hi Folks

Is there a way to set up a base twitter template, say when live tweeting a football match for example.

So that the body of a tweet would be the same - the mentions and hashtags in place and you just have to change the relevant elements.

    For example:

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx#Chelseafc 67min @chelseafc 1 @Everton 0 @premierleague

My initial thought would be something like this (which I haven't used)

    https://zapier.com/zapbook/google-docs/twitter/1558/tweet-from-google-docs-spreadsheet-row/

Set up a formula which has your tags/standard info and fills the gaps (time, score, comment) from other cells. As you would know before the match what the "set" text is, you'd know how many characters you have left, and could have other formulas turning cells red if you go too long.

Honestly, copy and paste does the job most of the time if it is all within a short time frame, e.g. constant tweeting during a match as above :)

If you are technical you can use the Twitter API but tbh copy/paste is probably easier.

It should be easy enough to set up a tweet-this-quote type function building your message in a spreadsheet, without even needing an API call.

    (mmmm ... ponders idea for a mobile app :) ... )

    Hi

Does anyone use Squawka & Whoscored stats and graphics on their blogs?

Do you need to pay to do so or is it free as using them is an ad for them?

What mobile app do you use? Some have a lot of extra features ans functions, and you may have to test a few to find the right one.

I have used it when live tweeting an event on mobile and it worked perfectly IMO. New tweet > paste > type new info > post.

If you do find something as simple but easier, I'd love to hear about it though to try out in future myself :)
