Do you have another car insured?

I'm sure someone will come along and explain the inns and outs and technicalities in a somewhat more patient and elegant fashion.

But to make a long story short : even if an insurance company would fall for this (which they probably won't as they've seen it all before) , you're going to get REAMED on the premium

You can only have one no claims bonus on the go at a given time. So if you have another car, you can not get another no claims bonus for the Audi. Insuring a 17 year old on an Audi, with no no claims bonus is going to be insanely expensive, whether you are the official owner of it or not. If you have another car and you are trying to get cheap insurance for your son, by pretending to be the main owner and driver of the Audi, that is called fronting and it is illegal.
