Approx how much is it to machine polish a car , mx5 size ?

Depends on who does it, and what finish you are expecting.

Full correction can cost hundreds. A pass with a decent compound, and wax, may cost 1-200.

Its really down to how far you want to take it.

buy your own kit and do it yourself.
Much more satisfying.
