    Hi,
I have a quick question. Does medical cert. left at work have any expiry date?
Two years ago, after a long period of time working in cold conditions I did bring to work a medical cert. saying that it would be beneficial to my health not to work
in those conditions. I started to have health issues after work, rheumatic muscle pains, problems with sinus etc.
Now the new manager came and first thing which he said to me is that the cert. is valid only for 6 months. Unfortunate our union rep is away so I cant receive an answer straight away and none else knows whats the story with it.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks

Just ask the doc that issued it to re-cert you again...get them to state the condition is permanent and unlikely to ever improve.

I will do it, but still i'm just curious is there any legal point behind it or just another "we say so"
argument. I tried to look for it myself, but no results.
