AHHHHHH!! Hurry up November. Is any1 as anxious as i am waiting for AC Unity. Ive seen the trailer and i am jumping out of my skin. Looks like its going to be unreal. New storyline aswel. Moving to france around the time of the revalution. And the multiplayer story line is going to make some difference in game play.

    Any other thoughts???

I'm looking forward to co-op story. I can certainly wait for it though. There won't be much difference in gameplay compared to last year's one but it should still be fun.

Not if that story about Ubisoft scaling down the PS4 version to be on par with Xbone is correct.

    Why would they do that??

They say it's easier just making games for the lowest common multiple. That and MS probably gave them a load of cash seeing as there will be XO console bundles with Unity included for free and a free copy of Black Flag. Can't have the competition running a better looking version of the game they are promoting.:D

I know AC Unity is different game than Watch Dogs but both come from Ubisoft. I was so let down by watchdogs I really have this image in my head that Ubisoft sucks. I also for some reason am not excited about Unity as much. Not sure why. I was crazy about Black Flag, it seemed exciting, fresh and beautiful. Unity seems like soap opera on RTE 2. I guess I will wait few weeks and than buy it used from CEX.

Or it could be that I am immune to Ubisofts way of hyping games, learn hard lesson after Watch Dogs, but Unity might still be good ..

I was dubious about watchdogs aswel at the start, but the more i played the more i liked it. I thought it was a good enough game. Ide give it 8/10

Not after seeing it the quality of it reduced to match the Xbone version. I'll be buying Far Cry 4 instead

They released a patch for Black Flag after release taking it from 900p to 1080p on the PS4 with no effect on frame rate. Hopefully they do the same for Unity. I'm getting Unity at release and holding off on FC4 for something to play over the new year lull. Looks like AC is going back to it's roots here.

I can see Black Flag getting a spin off series/ new IP type of thing.

Some of the footage looks class, but the gameplay looks same old s***, although some of the improvements sound good like climbing and running being on different buttons so you dont accidentally climb something when just trying to run around a corner, small stuff like that what made past games annoying... ill wait and see if they've really gimped the PS4 version to please MS since their paying for advertisement.. waiting on the DF analysis to see whats what, i aint supporting BS practices.

These weren't small things, the clunky controls infuriated me in 3 and 4 to the point of controller throwing rage. At least in the earlier games it wasn't as bad because you spent most of your time in urban environments. Speaking of which the environments have been terrible in 3 and 4. I can't think of a single memorable aspect of the cities and towns of 3 and while 4 was better it was just a chore.

Hopefully Unity finally fixes a lot of the issues that have crept into the series while returning to the epic assassinations that made the first game (ignoring the copy/paste missions in between). The naval warfare gets split into its own thing. We have an epic city to explore. Acknowledgement of the ****ty controls. A focus on actual assassinations. I'm cautiously optimistic.
