We are looking to find out the frustrations musicians face in creating music and collaborating with other musicians. Anyone interested in getting involved in a focus group to discuss and find solutions?

My main frustration is when people reply to a thread and give the impression of being one hundred per cent interested. All goes well until a date has been fixed for a rehearsal. Then the feeble excuses start to flow. This is if you are lucky enough to get an excuse as to why the person will not be available, i.e. you are not left in the rehearsal room on your own and have to pay for the privilege.

The other frustration is with the people who actually start a thread looking for musicians. Even if they are not interested in a certain reply, it is the professional thing to do to at least let the person know this, and within a reasonable time.

Unfortunately, with the best will in the world, no amount of discussion by a focus group is going to resolve these issues. :)
