anyone any opinions/first hand knowledge of buying car from this crowd?

anyone know how they source the majority of their cars?

    prices seem fairly competitive

They basically buy them directly from the large fleet/leasing companies afaik. Their prices displayed on the window plus an admin fee is the price you pay, no haggling and they will let you walk if you try. They also try to upsell things like a valet and third party warranty. I have no personal experience but know a few people who bought from them without issue.

If you do a search one guy on here bought a Octavia estate and another got a C5. From what recall they were both fairly happy. No personal experience I'm afraid.

I don't like their £99 admin fee and no discounts policy tho. I'd prefer to go to a dealer who 'd at least give a discount for export.

thanks for that guys, at least they are upfront about the admin fee

yes i'd heard, as the pimp said to Liam Neeson in Taken, 'd price is d price', don't even expect a fiver off

To be fair there cars are priced accordingly - just remember that their business model is very similar to that of a supermarket so don't expect a typical dealer type service.

My brother bought his car there. Was hassle free and he was happy but they're the motoring equivalent of Harvey Norman. I prefer to haggle as I enjoy it but if you want an easy experience, I'd say work away.

I bought from them last year and it was hassle free and very straightforward. If you can't be arsed with haggling and all that, I'd recommend Cargiant, I'll probably go back again at some stage.

What about inspections of their cars? Would it be wise to get one organised?

Do they allow you to bring a mechanic with you?

You normally have to secure the car with a credit card deposit, then you can arrange an inspection. If venturing over to the UK I'd have the inspection done prior to arranging travel rather than getting an inspection while your there as it could be a wasted trip.
