Someone please advice. Job offer, but another interview next week...

I had an interview and I got offered the job ( didn't receive contract yet, but I got told at interview...the company is GREAT but the position is not as much). However I have an interview next Wednesday for a job I would much much much prefer. Yet the company isn't as universally acknowledged as the above, but the position is something I would much rather do!

I might be jumping to conclusions, but what if the first company wants me to sign a contract asap, and I have yet to hear back from the job I really want?

    Thanks in advance

Do the interview next week, then wait for a reply.

In the meantime, if the first company wants you to sign the contract then sign it, take the job.

Should the 2nd company then come back and offer you the job then accept it and quit the first job.

You may think it is morally wrong to leave a job after only one/two weeks but this is one of those cases in life where you need to put yourself first. Your employment is a massive decision, do whats right for you. Rest assured the company will do whats right for them.

Could be in a similar situation.
I'll hear today about a job that I would be happy to take but I have another interview on Monday with double the length of the one i'll know about today.
