Harvey Normans are selling 4200 (50€) Microsoft points for 15 euro, they are getting rid of them as they won`t be accepted after end of year. As far as I can gather once you enter them you get a year to spent them. Bought 3 for 45 and my account has 150€ to spend.

What can you buy with them?

Anything on the Xbox marketplace (movies / games / music), although I thought they were completely done with as MS moved to taking money payments instead.

Microsoft Points are being discontinued. AFAIK points added before the end of the year will be converted to currency & will be valid for 12 months

Tis a damn good deal... Time to trawl around Harvey Normans in Dublin tomorrow and see if any of them have the deal on, be handy for DLC, arcade games etc.

So knock off 2 0's and add in a € sign and that's the value of these points?

Shame there's no HarveyNorman near me!

Great deal, basically getting €50 for the price of 15

Indeed was staring at them for a few minutes couldn't get my head around the price until one of the staff came over asking did I own a Xbox he told me about them and reason they were on sale and said he had bought a couple too since they were such a good deal.

I called 3 Harvey Normans branches and they said they never heard of this sale.

On the third they referenced this thread and said they have been getting many calls about it and said there is no sale of Xbox points at discounted prices.....

They mentioned they only have gold memberships in stock but that's it.

Well here`s some proof a copy of the receipts, Don't they always have the slogan if you find it cheaper elsewhere we`ll match the price?

Rang a good few stores there and it's seems mayo was literally the only place selling them. None of the Dublin ones either they don't have them or aren't selling them off. I even tried the swords one that was mentioned above selling them for 30 and the guy said they are 50 and that he was sick of people ringing all day about them he was actually quiet grumpy when I even asked. Ah well still a good deal if you live in mayo I suppose.
