Question about the increase in the standard rate tax band

In yesterday's budget there was an increase in the standard rate tax band for a single person of €1000, up to €33800.

My wife has recently taken extended time off work to mind the children, therefore I'm the only person bringing a wage into the house. Currently my salary up to €41800 is taxed at 20%. With the budget changes should I expect to see the amount I pay 20% on increase by €1000 to €42800?
