You can get great deals on flights to vietnam now, we paid €607( cork via Amsterdam kuala lumpur hcmc) with Malaysian airlines a few weeks ago, you can also fly with emirates(dublin dubia hcmc) for a bit more. But with Malaysian they offer twin city exit eg fly into hcmc out of Hanoi and other way around at no extra cost.
If i was you id fly into Hanoi first for sapa and halong bay travel by train or plane to hoi an and then to nha trang for day or so for beach and there onto hcmc for Mekong delta cu chi tunnels and so much more. Make sure to do the xo motorbike tour costs a bit but its brilliant. Also do the hotpot tour its free!!!
With only two weeks in vietnam doing this route will cover most of the tourist trail.
From hcmc get a bus to Phnom Penh for the killing fields either head south to the party/beach town of sibanoukville for a few days relaxation, head back to PP to get boat upto Siem reap base yourself there for ankor wat.
After all that travelling get a flight from Siem reap back to hcmc for flight home.
Make sure to get a month multiply entry visa this covers 30days if over this you have to get a 3month multiply visa. U can get Cambodian visa at border but make sure to only pay official price you will be charged higher...
We always use myvitenamvisa.com wit no hassle also use travelfinders for the flights as they can book your seats for free there and then.
Hope this helps have a great trip.
