    I have recently drilled a new well at 280ft and installed a 1HP submersible pump. Anyone got any idea how long it takes before the water starts to come clear. I let it run in 1 hour intervals twice daily and have been doing so for 3 days now and the water is still brownish in colour but getting a bit clearer. Thanks

    Drilled mine today. 280ft also. Not great supply but enough. He said leave for few days to settle. Not in any rush. How was your supply. Wat sort money pump tank etc

    €800 for cable, UPS pump and pressure vessel. Water starting to come clear now after a lot of pumping. Has been drilled over a month ago forgot to say so had plenty of time to settle.
