Shower screen/curtain for bath

    Hi folks,
I've an existing bath that I'd like to install a shower screen or curtain on. The rim of the bath is flat, no lip. The tile doesn't go to the ceiling but is above head height. I'm wondering what's people's opinion on the best option?

A curtain and rail would seem easiest to install and maintain but be the latest aesthetically pleasing.

My previous experience of folding "glass" screens is that they're most likely to leak (by misuse or damage) or need maintenance.

I'm inclined to a fixed glass screen attached to the wall with a support prop attached to the ceiling.

Also any recommendations on suppliers in Cork would be appreciated.

Sounds like you have some good ideas as to what you want.
I find Cork Builders Providers good and International Trading on the Tramore Road too.

    Best of luck,

Try Labeck in Sandyford in Dublin. They make the screen to fit your requirement. Talk to Michael on 01-295 7375. I have had a few fitted by them and they have never leaked and are well made.

Thanks for the info but in my own case an off the shelf screen will probably do.

Will try both. The temptation is to go to the DIY stores but to be fair any time I've gone to "trade" places like IITC the lads are always very helpful.

Worth giving a call to see what can be done. He does standard as well as bespoke.
