    Hi All,

I have a 110cm alcove which has a 100cm wardrobe in it. I was looking for idea's on how to fill in a 5cm gap either side of a wardrobe. I would normally cut a strip of conti board, but at 5cm's i thing there would be very little structure to it and would break.

I've been thinking of trimming some MDF architrave down to 5cm, as it would have a good bit more structure to it.

Why don't you buy a length of kicker to match the wardrobe doors, rip them roughly to width, they might need to be scribed if the wall is not level. Fix them from inside the wardrobe and then run a line of painters mate down the length that touches the wall. Should be a neat finish.
