    Hi,
I am thinking of buying a 2003 Kalos with 100k miles. Does anyone know what common faults that I should keep an eye out for?

    Thanks.

    Don't is the short answer.

They were a terrible car when they were brand new. Awful styling, awful interior design and quality, awful engine and gearbox. The only redeeming quality is they were cheap (for a reason!)! Nearly anything else will be better.
Have a look in the bangernomics thread for some inspiration.

I'd be getting a Clio if it were me.

Plus one for the clio. There are puntos and some almeras in that price bracket too. Both worth considering.
