Spacing out a disc?

Hi there quick question for the more informed out there, i changed all the discs and pads on my car two days ago (03 avensis estate) all went well and feel great ,only problem is the rear discs are rubbing off the hand brake assembly back plate, i know this is the case because after taking them off again i can see the wear, i googled it and from what i can see its a common enough thing to happen with aftermarket discs and generally lads grind a small bit off with a grinder and away they go, but before i go there, i was wondering if i put a washer(no more than 2mm) on each wheel nut on the hub and place the disc over that i'd avoid the backplate and wouldn't have to grind it which do you think would be the better plan?

The rear discs are the problem sort the problem by getting the correct discs

Washers are a big no no to be used as spacers.
If you have to ask then you haven't understood the heat and stress that is on those wheel bolts
how important it is for disc to sit against the hub and why you should use a wire brush to ensure there is no high point that could cause run out on disc.
These are precision made parts with high tolerances. Unlike the cheap after market part you fitted.

Give the disc back to supplier and get proper disc from dealer
