Ok, so you're just back from the UK with your nice shiny new 4x4. You want it as a commercial. What steps are involved prior to presenting it to be vrt'd?

What 4x4 is it?
Have you heard about the crew cab conversion? Keep your 5 seats but commercial tax status.

Not sure what 4x4 yet, considering a number of options.

Yes I heard about the crew cab conversion but the rules for commercial vehicle for motor tax and bik/capital allowances/vat differ. The lower motor tax isn't really that big an incentive - I couldn't risk it not being considered a 'van' by revenue, plus the rear seats wouldn't ever be used anyway.
