Changing front door

I ll be changing the horrible draughty Munster joinery front door with a new one. The installers told me that they will cut off the previous frame and they ll bolt the new one onto the remainings of the old one. The old door had tape and foam all around the wall that met the frame. With that in mind, where should I look for closing the air gaps with airtight tape? Thanks!

Anyone? Just need an advice on the correct approach to it.

The correct approach would normally be to remove the existing frame in its entirety. Anything less is a compromise.
