    Sorry to hear about your injury. I use a tacx flow myself, but reckon noise comes down to the surface as much as the device. If it is on a mat on a concrete floor, sound is unlikely to be an issue. Wooden floor on the second storey and you have problems. Either way, plenty of distraction will make turbo training way more fun. Something like sufferfest for a hard ass workout, or a boxed set in for longer easier sessions. I use a VR set-up with lots of loud music, which also works well but is a bit pricey for what you get. The BKOOL stuff also looks interesting.
