    Hi.
I got a call from Boston Scientific Tue about going down to Galway for testing which is the first stage of their recruitment process. She said if I was successful in that I would have to have an interview and a medical. The girl asked me a few questions and said she would ring me back Tue evening or Wednesday to arrange further. I still haven't heard anything!!! Don't know if they will still ring me at this stage. So frustrating!! Does anyone have any experience with them?? Thanks.

Hi. No, I haven't heard anything from them. So annoying. It's hard not to get your hopes up when they told me they would call me back.

I passed all the assessments, the woman at reception said they will be in touch in a week or two. She said there is no immediate job so the process isn't as quick as it was a few weeks back.

Hopefully you will hear something from them soon. There must be more jobs coming up soon.

    What were the assessments like?

  • You should contact them if you don't hear soon.

When did they call you to arrange your assessment? Did they give you much notice?

They had a notice up looking for science/ engineering graduates so I replied. They got back to me within a few days and I had the assessment within 2 weeks. The assessment differs from Boston as in, they do a psychiatric assessment along with basic maths and English type questions. They call approx 150 people for the assessment, around 50 get to the next stage. Then they interview and send you for a medical. If you send in your cv my advice is say you want evening shift, my mistake was saying I wanted daytime shift (as I have 3 young children). They are only hiring for evening at the minute and if you put down daytime your file will never be looked at (like my own). Good luck :-)

    Hi Emer29,

Did you hear anything further on the Boston Scientific job? I have an interview with them soon for a Product Builder position. Just wondering do you have any advice on the interview or what it's like?
