    Hi all,

Could someone please tell me what the double taxation agreement between Ireland and Saudi Arabia means for tax liability in Ireland?

    Thanks

Yes, someone could, what's your question?

(That's about as useful a reply as you can get, based on the question asked!)

Including the protocol, it runs to 37 pages. Would you like to be much more specific in your question?

I presume you are working in both jurisdictions.

The tax treaty means if you suffer tax in both jurisductions you get a credit to offset one against the other.

Depending on the type of income one country will have the primary taxing claim

I work only in Saudi Arabia, not in Ireland. My salary in Saudi Arabia is tax free, so do I have to pay tax on this income in Ireland?
