Whats the views on the situation where, as reported in todays journal, cattle north of the border are making €360 a head more than ours. Why do southern farmers tolerate this? Have the farm organisations done enough on this issue to ensure a return for their southern membership? Isnt the product produced by northern man essentially the same as ours, and if different, is it so different so as to command this monster premium?

What can be done about this now?
