Hey, I'm flying into Vietnam on 16th of November , and flying back out about 3 weeks later. We're looking into spending a few days in Cambodia in between.

To get a C1 tourist visa, is it ok to do the process on line, will I have any issues returning to Vietnam to fly home?

I'm heading that direction in March and was advised by the Travel agent I need a visa for Vietnam which I need to apply for before travelling. The office is in London. They said I can get the Cambodian visa at the border.

Yeah you can get the Cambodian visa at the border, you can get Vietnam in London, I think there there is also a pre visa you could get, well around 2011 there was, where you get it online and just bring that a a passport photo.
you can also get it at the border but costs 200 dollars like I did I wouldn't advise that ha ha

Hi have been to vietnam many times and the cheapest easiest way to get a visa is visa on arrival, we've used a company called myvietnamvisa.com its very straight forward and you dont have to send your passport to london which is helpful.
You apply for a 30day multiple entry visa that will cover you on the return to Cambodia, if travelling by land to Cambodia you will get a visa at the border.
Enjoy vietnam its a fantastic country

Simplest way is to go to Cambodia and use the Evisa option for 37 dollars, once there go to the Vietnamese embassy in Phnom Penh and they will issue you with a visa pretty much same day or at worst next day for cheaper than the embassy in the UK will do it and no posting your passport either.

Flights already booked into Ho Chi Minh so won't be able to go down that route unfortunately.

I can't seem to get a multiple entry visa on arrival. If I got a single entry visa, would I be able to get another single entry back into from Cambodia?

Spazdarnhave a look at myvietnamvisa.com its much cheaper than london embassy and they offer multiple entry... It would cost you a small fortune going witha single entry visa and then getting another one on reentry

I checked that site, they don't do them apparently.

"* We DO NOT offer multiple-entry visa approval letter, so if you need a multiple entry visa, please contact us for assistance."

So I wouldn't be able to get it on arrival?

http://www.starvietnamvisa.com/ does multiple entry visas. Cambodian e-visa can be requested online through their embassy website: https://www.evisa.gov.kh/

Thanks everyone.. got this sorted. Think getting the Cambodia visa will be a bit adhoc but I'm sure it'll be grand.

Went with Vietnamvisa.ie in the end

Hi guys, another quick question, the websites mention you need 75 dollars to get the visa once you arrive, (visa on arrival) will I literally need american dollars to pay this, or would euros work?

You need to have american dollars, pretty crisp ones. Apparently they don't accept tatty looking ones.

    Vietnam or Cambodia?

We went through an agent for Vietnam visa, and I cant remember the process. But for Cambodia you have to do it on arrival. It was quick and easy and there is a very helpful ATM as you arrive (this was at Siem Reap) which only dispenses USD.

Also, I wouldn't waste time with Cambodian currency - everyone wants dollars
