BB + 2 phone lines.

Hi guys,

I'm looking to move into an apartment soon, but I have a requirement for broadband + 2 phone lines.

Would this be easily done via Eircom E-Fiber?

Any info would be great. Thanks!

Cheapest option is Eircom LL + VDSL(eFibre) and an extra VOIP provider with a geographic number (076) for the 2nd line. Otherwise youll pay dual line rental.

UPC can support two phones too for small business accounts, not sure about residential.

I don't mind the cost. The apartments are not wired for UPC so sadly that's out

Not sure if VOIP will meet requirements. Ideally I need two physical lines in from Eircom.

Any particular reason why not? With a geographic number you get pretty much every feature PSTN offers + the option to have it be answerable in multiple places(your mobile for instance).

Work reasons. Id much prefer to use VOIP but the company I work for have asked for a physical line to be used.

In that case so just order efibre on the main line and order an additional line. Most premises have two pairs running to the master socket but only use one, so they break the second off to an extra socket, done. Easy peasy.

Why in earth do they want you to have a physical line? It's not 1994.
