Eagles wearing all black at home for the first time in their history, which is mildly interesting.

Well they're not wearing green because they're not ready yet, Nike are still making them - so they've worn white every week up to now. For whatever reason, they have just decided to wear all black this week.

To force the Giants to wear white? Or is black just a third kit?

Black is their third jersey. They have wore it a few times over the years, I even think they wore it against the Redskins this year

Lions go into this week having signed Matt Prater, the third kicker this year, after having gone through 1980-2012 with just 2 kickers.

had to be done Henery missed 4 of his last 5. You cant keep faith with a kicker whos performing like that.

He had a bit of wobble in pre season and week 1, but since the new sod was laid he's been pretty much perfect.

Do kickers get good money, i mean how hard can it be, shur they only have to kick it a few yards;)

In comparison to some other players - No
In comparison to the general population - Yes, very good money.

If it was that easy there would be a lot less missed FG's and kickers would never get released.

Top Kickers almost make more than half the RBs in the league.

Judging by the house the Falcons kicker had on Hard Knocks they earn quite the tidy sum it seems

I actually somewhat fancy the Texans tonight, for whatever reason, but its hard to bet against Luck and co in this form. The hype here in Austin for both Texas teams is insane at the moment!

I was going to go with the Texans for tonight's game myself. But I stuck with the inform Colts. But a Texans win wouldn't surprise me.

Is JJ Watt more important to his team than Andrew Luck! JJ watts team won two games last year!

    NFL network clowns

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,016 ✭✭✭Hulk Hands

Ive just had NFL Network on for the past 2 hours while I did other stuff. Christ its horrible bad. They've basically had 6 former players spend 2 hrs telling us repeatedly that Andrew Luck is good and JJ Watt is good

    Great onside kick

That has to be the handiest onside kick recovery I've ever seen. Normally it's absolute mayhem.

Amazing. What was the defender doing??

My days the Texans just aren't awake at all so far. What was the DB doing.

Jackson has got away with that!

Cripes, one of the supposed best defences in the league getting caught out big time.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

Ah feck, forgot to pick the Colts for this one in time!

I do wonder if McAfee has been given some free reign on kickoff though. Probably not, he is at this stage one of their longest serving players and it really did seem like he was the only player aware that an onside kick was happening kn either team, and he had so much of the field open ahead of him that it makes me wonder.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,746 ✭✭✭taidghbaby

Seriously Texans! Luck was going long to Hilton all day long on that play!

JJ it's 17-0 after 8 minutes, ease up on the celebrating!

Welcome to another episode of Thursday Night Walkover.

And I went with Fitzpatrick to get 229+ yards instead of Luck because I felt 304+ yards was too high to be betting on. He's half way there one eight of the way through the game...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,039 ✭✭✭Moist Bread

Colts often let teams back into games. This one is far from over.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

Did they just say the Bears beat the Colts in the 2009 superbowl?

This game will be over before the end of the first quarter, by the way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

The Texans are forfeiting here.. It's an interesting tactic.. let's see if it pays off for them.

Seriously though, they're all still in the dressing room bar JJ. Colts have realised they needed to get out in front early and stop any potential momentum.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,404 ✭✭✭spiritcrusher

Well Texans D hasn't shown up tonight at all and I'm fairly sure they don't actually have an offense...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

    Just ridiculous!

No 1st Q TD's against them since last December and 3 tonight!!!!
