tried looking for a video everywhere but no joy, looking how to remove my drivers side front headlamp from my 2005 passat b6, anyone know if this can be done without dropping the bumper?

I needed to take it out last week to put in a new headlamp. I couldn't find a guide anywhere so I had to take the bumper off took about two hours and loads of parts. It's not hard just time consuming

If its the same as audi a4 B6 , the bumper does not need to come off. Unscrew tge housing and slide it out. 5 mins tops

No parts sorry the bumper comes apart in 5 or six bits. I had to take out the wheel liners to get at a few screws I can't find the pictures I just changed my fone.

Just need a torx screw driver and a few sockets just take your time you will be fine. You might be able to to get it out by dropping the bumper a small bit but was hander less chance of damaging the car.

Always the same I lose them all the time. I can't remember what size. It's a shame it's not like other cars and the headlight unit comes out. But that's the joys of it
