Can some kind person advise me.

I am retired & receive the old age pension from the England plus a part pension from the state here. I also receive a modest private Pension from England as well. I pay tax to the English revenue (deducted at source ) the question is do I have to pay tax to our revenue also. & any guidance will be greatly received.

it depends on the value of your pension and if you are over 65 or under 65 and retired early. despite being retired, you are still liable for tax if your income is above the levels.

If you're only resident here you shouldn't be paying tax to the UK Revenue. You can generally apply to have the pension paid gross. If you have paid tax in the UK you should be applying for refunds.

I see this situation from time to time - people are often surprised to be told that you cannot choose which Revenue to pay tax to!
