Tweezers on a budget

    Hey gang.

I normally get my eyebrows waxed because I haven't a clue how to pluck them into shape.

However, I last had them waxed a month ago and one or two sparse hairs are growing back, so I took the only tweezers I had and had a go at plucking them.

It wasn't hard, but I don't think my tweezers are very good.
Can you recommend a good pair, but not too expensive as money's a bit tight.:o

    Thanks a lot!

I use Boots Straight Tweezers and have for years. I find them brilliant and they're only €2.65. They have slanted and pointed ones too but I've never used them.

Ooh that's a good price! I might have a look at the pointed ones. The ones I'm using are straight and they're a bit fiddly for me.
I shall peruse at my leisure tomorrow! Thank you :)

I got a set of 3 Barbara daly tweezers in tesco last night for 9.99, one is slanted, one is pointy and the other is straight. They come in a little case too :)

I got ones in Tiger a while back. Think they were about €2 and they are slanted. Find them really good.

Penney's started doing their own beauty now and they have some tools, too. I bought a set awhile back with two tweezers - one flat head and one pointed. They haven't failed me yet :)

+1 for the Penney's tweezers, they're brilliant!! They've replaced my trusty, more expensive ones that I've had for years.
