Pneumonia

    Had to 18 month year old heifer with Pneumonia last week.Vet treated her ,she is OK now.Every year I have an case of Pneumonia mainly in strong cattle ,once had a cow with it.Can I vaccinate the whole herd ?

    You can but you need to know what is causing the pneumonia.

    Next case, get your vet to take a sample swab and send it off to the lab.

    Once you know what the bug is then you can vaccinate against the cause of the pneumonia rather than taking a guess and not vaccinating against the right thing and wasting a lot of money.
