Hi all, 30-sumtin fella in Waterford here.. Have worked on a couple of cars in the past but never anything major and Haynes and Google were by my side the whole time.

Not long on the road myself now but starting to catch a bit of a bug and itching to learn more about cars.. Hoping to meet up with a few locals and help out under a few bonnets.

Would anyone be willing to let me pitch in somehow on an upcoming fix/project/service/anything ?

Cool, welcome to the DIY fold.

You can check with local lads in the Projects and Builds forum and come the motors meets when they happen.
Or keep lurking here and offer to help out if someone looks local.
