Need to connect new house to public water supply. Have made arrangments with Cork County Council/Irish Water and paid the fees. Connection is on grass verge outside house but still need road opening licence. Struggling to find someone to apply for road opening and connect water. Anyone able to suggest someone or where to look. Is there a directory of who is able to apply for road opening licence? In Macroom/Lissarda area
    Thanks

Connection only to water our planning was from 2012 and Irish Water have different rates depending on when you're planning was granted and contributions calculated. We paid Irish Water 450e for connection along with our Council Contributions and will pay approx 800e for contractor and road opening licence to connect. hope that helps

What you pay to Cork County Council is set out as a condition in your grant of planning
