Fibre F1000 Modem. Syncing at 90000 Kbps but im only getting 70000 Kbps

I was getting 90mbps in speedtests with different speed test sites until two weeks ago.

The modem is still syncing at 90000Kpbs according to the stats, but now i only get 70megs using all sorts of speed tests.

Ive tried a hard reset on the modem. Ive tested using the ethernet cable plugged directly into the modem. I dont know why the speed dropped.

Calling support is pointless. Its just a waste of time.

    Can anyone shed any light?

perhaps your on wireless and not located beside your modem? 70meg is more than anyone needs and be very thankfull you can even get 70meg, there are alot of people here who are on 1-8meg (1024kbs-8128kbps), and may remain on such a connection for a very long time to come.

edit: just seen your plugged directly into modem, check if someone else is downloading or streaming at same time, if your syncing at 90meg your real speedtest speed is not going to be 90, more like 84,
